Snow Panda is another Bingsu Cafe available in Manila. They already have 5 branches and offers variety of bingsu flavors and other Korean snacks. Bingsu is a popular Korean shaved ice dessert consist of sweet toppings, chopped fruits, milk and syrups.
The shop got Injeolmi, Green Tea, Pineapple, Banana, Pat, Choco, Coffee Choco, Mango, Avocado, Kiwi, Blueberry, Watermelon, Melon and Strawberry Bingsu.
Aside from Bingsu, Snow Panda also offers Bubble Tea, Smoothie, Ade drinks, Yogurt smoothies, Toasts and other Korean snacks like Tteokbokki (Spicy Korean Rice Cake), Gimbap (Seaweed Rice roll) and Mandu (dumplings).
Bingsu’s price ranged from PHP 130.00 – PHP 170.00 for a Medium bowl (good for 2 pax) and PHP 200.00 – PHP 220.00 for a Large bowl (good for 3 pax).
We ordered Injeolmi Bingsu and Choco Bingsu for PHP 130.00 each (Medium Size) and Gimbap (PHP 100.00). Compared to other shops, this is already cheap given that the ingredients are generous (almonds, injeolmi powder and milk for Injeolmi Bingsu has the right quantity with the shaved ice). But for Choco Bingsu, I find it basic especially with the chocolate syrup that they’ve used. The chocolate candies used for Chocolate Bingsu is also a bit inappropriate. The gimbap is also good and price is way cheaper compared to other restaurant that offers it.
SM Bicutan branch can cater big groups and has couches for snack kwentuhan. The couches are colorful making the place relaxing as well. They have a single TV where they play K-pop music videos without subs so K-pop last song syndrome all the way!
